She closed her eyes and felt herself drifting off to sleep. She was very tired.  She felt a cold icy hand grip her shoulder. Her hair instantly stood on end. She calmly asked “Who is it?” There was no answer. The hand on her shoulder was still there, firm. She felt the weight of someone on the side of the bed. She was really tired and knew this wasn't a dream. She turned to see who this torment was.

She screamed in fright of what she saw. A huge man with a meaty face sat beside her bed staring at her saying nothing. His mean crooked grin scared the living daylights out of her. She jumped onto the floor and headed for the door. He leaped in front of her and blocked her way. She screamed out loudly till her voice couldn’t come out no more. It was a waste of time because she was alone in the house and Linda would never hear her from her quarters. She felt useless. “What do you want?, she screamed. He just looked at her and grinned. She leaned onto the chest of drawers and made for the silver cabinet beside her. She quickly opened it and retrieved a black berretta. She had never needed it. She knew it was loaded from three days before because she had done so herself. She removed the safety and put her finger on the trigger. She pointed the gun at the man holding the gun like a professional marksman. He just grinned. “I will,” she said drawing in onto the man in a stealthy way just like in the movies. She stopped four yards in front of him and cocked the gun to show him she meant it. Something was not right here. You aim a gun at any man he gets petrified, probably says his last prayers and begs for mercy.

This guy was smiling! Tasmin aimed at the window to give him a warning shot and show that she meant serious business .She pulled the trigger. Nothing! She pulled it again. Nothing! All the blood from her face drained and she was very pale. The dark man with the meaty face said something. “You can’t tell the difference between a gun with balls and one without.” His face looked nasty. He had a nasty man’s face. He had small evil red eyes and a sausage nose. His lips were grey from years of smoking. He was heavily built. Not as in fat but muscular. He drew closer to her. Tasmin stepped away and darted into her en suite. He was in there behind her before she could lock the door. He moved fast for a man of his build. With one swipe he caught Tasmin by the arm, shaking the berretta out of her hand and onto the floor.

“This is soon going to be over,” he whispered hoarsely. He held her facing him and held the collar of her blouse on either side as if to fix it into place. Her whole body was shaking in fear. He pulled her by the collar and pinned her against the wall. And with one tug he ripped the buttons off the blouse from top to bottom. She screamed in horror and delivered a crippling kick to his groin which put him on his knees with his eyeballs popping out. This didn’t help her much because he was still holding onto her and this time it was solid. He took her by the arms and flung her onto the bed. He was panting heavily and looked annoyed. He reached behind her back and unsnapped her bra with one click. He pulled it off with the other hand. By this time Tasmin had given up fighting. She just laid on the bed like a sack of potatoes and shut her eyes. Tears were streaming out of her eyes and she tried to scream but she couldn’t make a sound. The man pulled her trousers off and left her completely naked. He loosened his tie and sat on the bed. His face showed no emotion. He crawled onto her and undid his trousers. Just then his phone rang. He cursed and jumped to answer his phone. Not the sort of thing one normally does in those circumstances. He answered and said yes. The man on the other end was talking fast and Tasmin could not make out any of the conversation. The man’s expression said it all. Whatever it was, it was very important. He hung up his phone adjusted his tie and did his trousers. He walked out without saying a word.

They stood gathered the table with their heads bowed while he said a prayer. They all nodded and grunted in agreement and all said amen. They were dressed in immaculate grey suits and pink shirts. The attention to detail was on point. The cufflinks matched the ties and the shirts were perfectly tailored. He looked up and gestured for everybody to sit down. She was the last to arrive. She wore a grey trouser suit and a pink blouse. She managed to turn every head in that meeting room. She had every man in there wishing. She was slender and tall. Her blouse showed her cleavage and she had an intimately beautiful face. Her seductive eyes seemed to capture the heart and mind of every man in the room. For a moment she completely had the attention of every man in the room. She pulled her chair out and apologized for being late before quickly sitting down. She shuffled into her bag looking for her files and sat up.

He looked at her from across the table and grinned. She gave him a second look and her stomach was in a knot. She felt sick and the color drained from her face. It felt like a nightmare. She had been preparing for this meeting for months and she could not believe what she was seeing. She felt a trickle of sweat running down her face. She bit her bottom lip and readjusted her seat. The man sitting across from her had small red evil eyes and a sausage nose. This man had paid her a visit the night before....
